Nancy has a wonderful energy, enthusiasm, and interest in helping children to open their eyes to the wonder of the outdoors. My girls and little boy love being with her to explore, laugh, and learn. The are always excited to spend time with her and see what fun adventures she can share with them. Her comfort and ease with exploring put my children at ease to get out and enjoy the world away from their phones and tv shows. My children also simply love being with her to relax, cook, and have fun, and they really love feeding the chickens!!

I have watched this idea grow from seed, and am so impressed with the wonderful program that Forest Kinder School has become. There is such a dire need for schools like this to give our children a break from technology by exposing them to the purest form of education – nature. Forest Kinder School not only provides the basics of an outdoor program, it fosters Curiosity, which is the most important trait a child can develop.

Nancy cared for our three children from the ages of 8, 5 and 3 until they were 12, 9 and 7. She was kind, caring and educational. She instilled a love of nature, animals and the outdoors in general. They hiked, gardened and played outdoors in the summer and went snowshoeing and sledding in the winter. Our girls have fond memories of the years spent with Nancy and still get together with her on a regular basis. She always has a positive spirit and is a wonderful person.

I’ve known Nancy for about 20 years. She has been a great friend and we’ve had many adventures together. Nancy has an enormous heart and loves children and the outdoors. My 3.5 year old has been in her care in the Forest Kinder School and absolutely loved it. Nancy and Find Us Outside has been an amazing discovery. Both my girls ages 2 and 5 have grown drastically over the past year and a half! They have incredible physical balance and coordination.
